Creatures embrace

The night unfolds with a flash of darkness

I feel as if I can reach out and grab a handful of stars

Darkness steps out of the shadows

The moonlight turns the black hair silver

I look at the face and see a flash of shimmering fang in the night

Not human, not animal, what is it?

A hand reaches out

I turn and try to run into the clearing

seeing only trees

The words trapped, alone and scared crowd my mind

A blur of motion brought him near

I drop my eyes and when I raise them… I am alone

Two arms enfold my waist

I struggle, and it speaks

“Hush now, ma petite” it whispers husky, masculine

The voice slid down my skin, soothing

My fear disolves

Hair is brushed off mu neck, fingers down the smooth silky white skin

And I melted into his arms as his mouth

enclosed over my neck
